Cacao Protein Smoothie Bowl

One of those days when I feel like I need a huge icy bowl of fuel before I hit the gym, a smoothie bowl is all I need. Skip the sugary protein bar or snacks with this energizing Cacao Protein Smoothie Bowl which is packed with plant-based protein as well as superfood and nuts. This sugar-free and dairy-free bowl will help you power through any gym sessions.



- 3 bananas

- 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder

- 2 tablespoons of peanut butter

- 100ml of soy milk

- 15 grams of raisins

- 1 teaspoon of chiaseeds

- For the popsicles: 200ml coconut milk, 1/2 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder, 3 tablespoons of chia seeds



1. Make the popsicles overnight first as it takes a while to harden. In a bowl, mix the coconut milk, cocoa powder and chia seeds evenly and pour into the popsicle mould. Leave it overnight

2. Chop the 3 bananas into small chunks and put them in the freezer overnight

3. The next day, blend on high speed the frozen banana, soy milk and cocoa powder until it's smooth and creamy

4. Spread peanut butter on the surface and layer banana slices over

5. Finish with a sprinkle of chia seeds and raisins. Plonk in two chia seed popsicles
