Healthy Chia Popsicles

I love ice-cream (well, who doesn't) and the sight of opening up the freezer to see a cool-down remedy on a hot day. While store-bought ice-cream can be really nasty, filled with sugar and fats and unknown ingredients, making your own healthy popsicles can be a alternative.

These chia popsicles are really easy to make. You can also add a pop of colours by blending in about a quarter of a red dragon fruit. Make a huge batch it, store it in the freezer and eat it as a snack as and when you feel like it. Such a good idea, no?


- One banana - Half cup coconut milk (I use Jia Jia Wang pasteurised coconut milk)

- 2 tablespoons of chia seeds

- 1/4 red dragon fruit

- Optional: blueberries


1. Blend all ingredients together until mixture becomes smooth

2. Pour into a popsicle mould

3. Freeze them until solid
