Vegan Chocolate Banana Oatmeal Bread

Cocoa powder (unsweetened please) is a great superfood to stock up at home. It can be added to anything! I run out of cocoa powder as I use it really often in smoothies and baking. Did you know that cocoa powder are rich in antioxidants and it contains magnesium, calcium and the highest plant-Based source of iron?

I tweaked my Vegan Banana Bread recipe to bake this loaf of Vegan Chocolate Banana Oatmeal Bread using cocoa powder. I love the aroma that spreads through the house when you bake anything with banana and of course the fact that I can have healthy breakfast for days!

- 3 over riped Bananas (when you see dark spots on it)

- 1/2 cup wholemeal flour

- 1/2 cup organic instant oats

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 3 teaspoons of cocoa powder

- 2/3 cup coconut oil

- 1/4 cup soy milk

1. Blend 2.5 riped bananas until mixture is smooth

2. Add the mixture to other wet ingredients like oil and soy milk

3. Sift all dry ingredients in a bowl

4. Combine both wet and dry ingredients and fold them with a spatula

5. Grease the baking pan with oil and pour the mixture in

6. For the 0.5 piece of banana that's left, cut it into half horizontally (train your knife skills!) and place on to the batter

7. Bake in over for 25 minutes at 180 degrees

8. To test whether it's baked or not, poke the loaf with a knife to see if it comes out clean
